A new lot of cookies in plastic and felt

These are the new cookies that I mentioned last week. Some are shiny and bright. and some are crystal clear. They add a bit of variety to the previously all black selection. They are available as Key chains, Pendants, or Charms. I also made some that are clear. There are also a bunch of over sized felt cookies which I still don't know how to use.

The photographs of the cookies came out really well (because my mother helped me). Look at this bowl of clear ones. It looks like it came right out of a raytracer.

In addition to the new acrylic cookies, I have made an additional 39 large record cookies and 100 small cookies. Hand cutting was a little inefficient for these large quantities and new materials, so I switched over to laser cutting the circles. This really helped my success rate for hand folding the cookies because the rounder the cookie blank is the easier it is to fold. Unfortunately the small record cookies deform a bit in the oven, so there are a few really awkward looking fortunes in the bunch.

These are made from white industrial felt.
They are very large. I have no idea what to use them for.

  4. How do you make the little colorful ones? I would live to make a bunch and put in a clear mason jar as decoration

  12. I am noticing a lot of comments asking for a tutorial on how to make these. If you read this blog, you know that I very often share things in tutorial form, but sometimes just to share. Some crafts are not really meant to be made at home, you need the correct tools and facilities to make them without endangering yourself and those in your home. This is one of those crafts.

I will not be sharing this process online because it is inherently dangerous to make in the average home.
