Chrysanthemum Knitting Pattern is Up!!

For sale on etsy and ravelry.

getting restless in Connecticut

I went out to the backyard today with my mother to take pictures of the (old) new hat pattern that is ready for publishing. She got some funny shots of me running around throwing hats.

Frolicking with knitwear in the summertime might be a sign of general boredom.

Hat Challenge: The funky astronaut

This is an "artistic" shot of my newest hat challenge results. This is the funky astronaut, inspired by vintage illustrations of space men. Friends say to me "Where do you plan to wear that?", "You look like an odd robot," and "What!?" I think what they are really trying to tell me is that they like it.

It is the first of my designs that has been incredibly close to my original sketch, I will post that later when i retrieve my sketchbook from my studio.

Hat Challenge - The Silly Balaclava

The challenge was to make the least intimidating balaclava possible.

I came up with this versatile hat/balaclava which can potentially look very silly depending on how it is worn. I have been wanting to make a hat like this for a long time, and have many sketches of the ridiculously long hat with eye holes theme.

So, rate my success. Would you laugh if I tried to rob a bank while wearing this?
